 Celebration

Come celebrate the height of summer with nature based workshops, holistic treatments, live music, delicious food options, summertime games and activities and a ceremonial Midsummer bonfire all set in the beautiful backdrop of Sparrows Campsite. 

Glamping and Wild camping stays are available as well as pitches for campervans.

IMPORTANT INFO

WHEN DOES THE EVENT START & END ? 

The campsite gates open at Midday 20th June - The festival ends at 5pm on Sunday 22nd June

 

WHERE IS THE MIDSUMMER EVENT? 

Sparrows Campsite, Froyz Hall, Halstead, Essex, co9 1rs

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH MY TICKET? 

All workshops and activities are included in your ticket as well as the group solstice ceremonies and live evening music.

*The Bracelet making workshop is at an additional cost*

Treatments in the Wellness Meadow are offered at an extra cost, you can book your treatments in over the weekend with the practitioners set up in the meadow.

The wood fired sauna and hot tubs are bookable at an extra cost too. The cold plunge barrels are free for all to use. 

IS CAMPING / GLAMPING INCLUDED WITH MY TICKET ?

Camping and Glamping stays are an additional cost to your General admission ticket. If you'd like to stay overnight on site please add on the Camping or Glamping ticket option when at check out in the ticket portal. 

If you are booking a Glamping tent please get in touch via email to arrange your bed layout for your tent. 

CAN I BUY A TICKET ON THE DAY? 

A limited supply of tickets will be available to buy on arrival at the gates. You are encouraged to buy your tickets beforehand to avoid disappointment however! 

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND ALCOHOL? 

You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.

There will be a range of delicious food options available on site from the food trucks and on site bar however.

Vegetarian/Vegan options will be available too. 

Meals and drinks can be paid for by cash or card on site. 

 

CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK ON SITE? 

You are welcome to come and go as you please.

You will be required to show your entry wristband at the campsite gates to the staff each time you come back on site however. 

 

IS THERE PARKING? 

The campsite has a main car park which is only a short walk from the main site, you will be directed to a parking space. Parking spaces are limited so you are encouraged to car share where you can. 

 

WHERE IS THE CAMPING AREA? 

The main camping area is only a short walk from the campsite car park and will be clearly signposted. 

You are not allowed to drive into the camping area to drop off your camping equipment, so please pack accordingly and prepare to carry your equipment.

There are a limited supply of trolleys available, which must be returned to the trolley area after use. 

Camping pitches are first come first served, please be considerate of space and don't spread your tents out too much if in a group to allow others to set up on the pitches. 

 

WHERE IS THE GLAMPING AREA? 

The Glamping area is a short walk from the main car park.

The Glamping area will be clearly signposted and your name will be displayed on your tent. 

CAN I BRING MY DOG? 

Well behaved dogs are welcome on site.

Dogs are not allowed in the Glamping tents however if you have booked a Glamping tent. 

Please make sure to keep your dogs on leads and clear up after them. 

IS THERE ANYWHERE TO CHARGE MY PHONE? 

There is a charging station available on site, this is a first come first served basis and you are responsible for your belongings.

You are encouraged to bring battery packs if you may need them. 

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?  

This is an outdoor event, be prepared for whatever the weather may bring! 

Sunscreen, sunhat and raincoat as well as warm layers for the evenings. 

Water bottles and personal mugs for coffee are also recommended. 

If you are hoping to join the Yoga sessions and other sessions that may require lying down bring a yoga mat! 

 

CAN I BRING A SOUND SYSTEM/PORTABLE SPEAKER? 

You are welcome to bring a small personal speaker which can be played at a considerate level if you wish.

There will be live music on site throughout the day and especially in the evenings. 

Quiet time on site is from Midnight, please be considerate of others camping around you and your noise levels. 

WHERE CAN I FIND THE WEEKEND SCHEDULE? 

The weekend schedule will be on show around the site, you will be given a schedule on arrival as well. 

ARE THERE SHOWERS/TOILETS ON SITE? ​

Toilets and showers are available on site as well as compost toilets in the camping area.
